I will be at the Rotella Gallery on Wednesday for the unveiling of a one-of-a-kind image entitled “Inferno”. Wine, soft drinks, and snacks will be served.

The streams are live at OPTIC2015 Livestream, click the “watch again” button in the Livestream box and navigate to the talk using the arrows.

Having traveled to Nepal several times, my heart is with the people of this beautiful country at this time of terrible tragedy. Here is a list of some of the groups soliciting donations for relief efforts in Nepal (courtesy of the New York Times):
On June 6 at 10am I will be following up with the Art of Composition Seminar at the Ricketson Auditorium. This is my master class where I show insights and techniques that will help your photographic eye and transform your photography.
This trip, which ranged from the color riot that is the Holi Festival in Mathura, to the holy waters and ghats along the Ganges in Varanasi, through the beautiful landscapes and tigers of Bandhavgarh and on to colorful desert settings of Rajasthan, was a terrific experience for us both. Art Wolfe magic was a big part that experience. Art is a funny, engaging and kind human being, as well as an excellent, patient teacher of photography. We would join him again in a heartbeat for more photography travel and hope to do so soon!
This group of photos represents a lot of 4:40am wake-ups in Japan in order to get the best atmospheric conditions as well as to avoid the tourists. Lots of foul weather as of late, which played nicely into our shoots. I especially like the Lotus stems!
