I’ll be in town this weekend between trips and will be spending some time on Saturday signing books at Kenmore Camera’s Customer Appreciation Day! The first 100 customers will be receiving a FREE copy of “Edge of the Earth, Corner of the Sky”, and my assistant Libby will be on hand with some other goodies. Other books will be available for purchase and signature, so come on by and check out the festivities.
Kenmore camera will be offering special savings for the event, so this would be a great time to come and pick up that gear you’ve been holding out for. A Canon rep will also be on hand to answer questions you might have about their products.

This weekend is the Kenmore Camera Digital Photo Expo at the Lynnwood Convention Center, and due to schedule changes I’ll be able to make a surprise visit for a book signing this Saturday from noon to 1! Come down and say hello, and pick up a signed copy of the latest edition of one of my mst popular books, Earth Is My Witness. Immediately following my signing, my good friend Rick Sammon will be giving his presentation on the Evolution of an Image from 1-3 pm.
This is a can’t-miss photo expo and Kenmore Camera’s biggest event of the year. Aside from photographers like myself being on hand to hopefully provide some insight and inspiration, manufacturers will have their latest gear on display with plenty of deals on cameras and accessories. Rick Sammon and John Dibbs will also be signing their respective books as well.

Today I am heading out for the Falklands and South Georgia Island, so I will be missing the Digital Expo this weekend at Kenmore Camera. However, my assistant Libby Pfeiffer will be there Saturday the 5th from 10 AM to 3 PM with a plethora of pre-signed books, including my latest, “Photographs from the Edge”.

On Wednesday, November 2nd, 6-8pm, at the Rotella Gallery in Bellevue, WA, I’ll be signing my latest book, Photographs from the Edge – a behind-the-scenes chronological guide to the experiences, decisions, and methods that helped me capture images from some of the most exciting locations across the globe. Photographs from the Edge will be available for purchase, and the gallery will also be displaying prints of iconic images from the book.
This upcoming Sunday, I will be in New York City to present Photography As Art at the Museum of Arts and Design. There is still time to join the seminar and spend the day with me as I discuss the many ways to use photography as an artistic medium to identify and capture the design elements in the world around us, creating visually interesting images in virtually any location.
I will also be attending a signing for my new book, Photographs from the Edge: A Master Photographer’s Insights on Capturing An Extraordinary World, at the Rotella Gallery New York from 2-4 PM the preceding Saturday afternoon, and I look forward to meeting everyone who is able to attend!
