Marbled Godwit, Willet, and Short-Billed Dowitcher, Laguna San Ignacio, Baja California, Mexico

This large flock of shorebirds was concentrated on the only beach left exposed by the high tide. I was able to situate myself on a hill above them, which enabled me to get all the birds in focus without having to use the smallest aperture settings. This was important becuase small aperture settings require longer exposures, which I wanted to avoid given the moving birds.
