In late summer and fall the Okavango sun is a great thing to incorporate as there are so many grass fires burning. When the sun is close to the horizon the crimson color is easy to get as the sun rises or sets through the particulates in the air. With a telephoto lens you can compress the scene and get a very compelling image.
