Beluga whales (Delphinapterus leucas), Somerset Island, Nunavut, Canada
To get a different perspective, and to record larger numbers of beluga whales, I flew above the coastline of Somerset Island. My favorite shot was this one, where 34 whales form a beautiful pattern in the water.
